Doctors
A collection of mini-biographies of some of the many medical staff who worked at the Hospital over the period 1852-1914. Some biographies include the reminiscences of Dr John Poynton, one of Hospital’s longest serving medical men, derived from a manuscript of his memoir s of his time at Great Ormond Street. Other sources used include personal papers in the Hospital archive, Monk’s Roll and the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
